Who was/is this man?

Each person, I think, must answer such a question their own way,
based on their own experience and insight. I can not speak for
anyone else, but I appreciate the opportunity here to try to come to terms and share my
present answer to the best of my ability.
I'll
present a summary of my answer first, and then tell, if you are
interested, something of how I got there. Read this as my view of the
truth, not asking anyone to accept my words for the TRUTH.
I believe, based on my experience .....
Jeshua
is/was a man exactly in the same way as you and I
are 'men'. I also believe Jeshua was not, and is not, a man, exactly the same way you and I really are not 'men'.
Coming to know who we really are, we come to know who Jeshua is, and
vice versa. This is a total experience, not just intellectual puzzle
solving.
I have discovered that I am not at all what I once thought I was,
and I think the same applies to all persons, and in fact everything. Though
Jeshua
did appear in history just as you and I have appeared to appear, his
life, present and
past illustrates and corroborates that none of this really is as it appears on the surface. He
apparently died bodily but yet lives and still appears in form when
helpful, assuring those to whom he appears that they too are not only
what they seem to be, and that there is indeed LIFE beyond what we sense with our
senses. Not every one needs this type of confirmation to know it, but there are times not having this awareness when it can be extremely helpful, even life saving.
Looking
in the mirror, we
do not see who we are ... we are not bodies. This is the form
and appearance we have taken in this world of appearances, actually
nothing
but a very convincing dream, recognizable only upon awakening.
When
awake, E V E R Y T H I N G appears very different in the new light.
Then seeing what appears before our face as it does everyone else,
conveys
'sign if I cant' lessons and meaning, revealing the true nature of
everything.
Jeshua's appearance 2000 years ago was no more
real or less real than is ours now. Those who think he never appeared as a
body are quite mistaken, though in reality it is true for everyone.
Our true identity is not to be seen or imagined, being without image or form.
We are the
dreamers of
this dream, and Yeshua is one who realized this and has chosen to
stick around in the dream, while yet aware of his/our true identity, at Home
with the Father. His life and death serve to show that his true Self
could not be killed, and the same is true for us. We learn that he still
could love, is love, even while those others took away his bodily life. Knowing the truth, he was free.
We
too are now Home with the Father, only we are not
yet aware of it, having forgotten, making this world and
universe to cover the quite mistaken guilt and fear that we have separated
from the Father, in whom lies our true Identity. Atonement, salvation
is the experience, the Knowledge of our own true innocence and Identity. No one else
does this for us, yet since we are One in the Living one, we do it
together.
Jeshua
knew he could not leave anyone behind. We got here together and must
all see through what we have made together. We are called, exactly as
Jeshua, to recognize
our true Identity, forgive ourselves and the world and our apparent
sins as if they never really happened, which is true. What happens to events
we dream in a night dream, upon awakening in the morning? As real
as they may have seemed while dreaming, they disappear on awakening.
They go nowhere, since they never really existed. This is true of
this seeming reality as well, relative to the Truth, Heaven.
Jeshua is the Christ. But again, no more, and
no
less, than our own only true Being is the Christ, the one and
only Son of God, the Living One. This too is our beginning and end, the Alpha and Omega of our One reality
Jeshua
can, and does appear to men and women today as a brother and deepest
friend. Not as
a Master to be worshiped or to be subservient and inferior to, but as
our
Equal, in fact serving us in any and every possible helpful
way. Now, in everything. What is called his Resurrection was not
a myth, and those who saw him, touched him, and heard him speak,
even ate a meal with him, after the 'death of his body' were not
hallucinating, or lying, nor mistaken. The day is here again
when more
and more
persons are reporting such a visit from him when they need most to be
reassured of his presence, and t/his very much ALIVE state of being.
His
ability to appear whenever the Holy Spirit requires, anywhere, even
locked rooms, to a single person or a plurality of persons together, or
to many
persons all at the same time, even in different locations, is also
an ability we also have when we too become nothing but manifestations
of the Holy Spirit, which we can be. This appearance can appear
as a
substantial, living, body, in every way as we appear as bodies now, but
with no limitations. To the 'senses', this form can be touched, seen,
heard as can any 'body'. Yet it can disappear as easy and quickly as it
appears.
In
a dream,
anything is possible, and once recognized as a dream, lucid in
awareness of one's true state, one gains mastery over the dream. Yeshua
has done this. This too is our calling. He said "The things
that I do you also shall do and greater." This is blasphemy only to
those who have not yet had experience of their own true nature, hence
the true nature of everything.
With
true Individuality, without limitation, each 'one' has everything.
There is no 'sacrifice' or loss of anything. The fears and guilt that
we have made are the only blocks hiding the view of what we can be, or
rather, already are, unawares. It is impossible to give up 'nothing'.
Awakening, we gain everything. Even what we thought we had
lost.

With
bodily eyes and ears and other senses,
we cannot begin to truly understand the true nature of the world and
universe. What we have seen, felt, heard is only the shell, the
corpse. Not the LIFE. We together project and hence perceive the world as we see it.
With change in Mind and Heart, the process of being 'born again' (metanoia)
of which Jeshua teaches, everything appears different. New vision
reveals what we could have never imagined possible. Becoming as a child
again, we grow into a new world we formally had no idea existed. This
rebirth, transformation of heart and mind, is first awareness of
Spir it, from 'where' 'it' comes', and 'where' 'it' 'goes',
as explained to Nicodemus in the tree. Jeshua himself underwent this
same rebirth, and then told us about it. This was no cooked up
emotional conversion or bowing down to some master or holy man. It is
finding that within oneself which once seen is seen in everything ...
the inner and outer, the upper, the lower, becoming one. The Kingdom of
heaven in our midst, not just within.
Men
and women today
undergo this experience increasingly in numbers and power as this Spirit
leavens the earth and souls of men, the 'meal' of Jeshua's parables. More and more persons come
to
realize there has to be more than meets the eye, and ask to be shown
what 'this' is, and receive the answer. Asking for a fish, we are
not given a rock.
Then even the world of
appearances, objects, what once were known as 'physical' events are
seen
for what they truly are, subject to no laws as now formulated about
them
with our piece-meal,
analytical dissections and theories. In the place of the eyes and the
ears, are developed new eyes, ears, feet, legs arms, hands that move, heal and
perform is ways inconceivable before. The Joy, the Light turn a sad,
insane world into a happy dream before all illusion and dreaming cease,
only the TRUTH, The LOVE, we are IS. CHRIST in E V E R Y T H I N G. The
One Son of The Father.

Coming
to know Yeshua and
who he was/is, one comes to know oneself and vice versa. Then (and only
then) does one simultaneously come to see the world and universe for
what it is, and
in this, One develops vision for the true, the real world and
universe God made, as it IS, not as we have distorted and imagined
it...seeing through layer upon layer, dimension upon dimension one
moves to
the Core, the only real. Experiences come as we are ready for them, not
the goal, but 'sites' we pass through on the way back home. 'Places' we
made
on our imagined 'escape' from the imagined wrath of the Father.
Being
born again and with the making of eyes in
the place of the eyes, one develops vision to see the miraculous
nature of everything and what is hidden behind and through it. The world, and all of
experience, both so-called 'inner' and 'outer'. E V E R Y T H I N G becomes the medium for
the
Voice for God to speak to us, leading us again back home. Christ quite literally then becomes everything to us.
This
is NOW the
only sole purpose and meaning of literally everything.
Remarkably, Jeshua saw
this and heard that voice and followed it Home. We have the exact same
calling.
All manner of miracles fell out around him
as he "did what he saw the father doing". That voice, that
memory of now, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter serves
this same function from the depths of our very own being, as well in
everything that
appears to be separate and outside us.
Finding
this Pearl of Great
Price and making it our own, a new
heaven and a new earth are created in our very presence, here and now,
not
sometime "after death" or in the future. This was/is the message of
Yeshua. The
Kingdom of heaven has come, it is HERE, NOW, in our midst, closer than
our
very breath, yet spread out over the earth as well. Only we do not see
it. Then is total attention given to forgiving and loving everything as
parts of ourself, reuniting them, bringing them together in full
awareness of who/what we are, he guides us HOW to make heaven and earth
One, translating Earth into Heaven. The HOW is the part of his message
portrayed how he treated others as he would himself want to be treated.
In doing the same we are treating ourselves as Christ, hidden in "even
the least of these."
The
Sons of man revealed as Son of God.
In
truth 'we all together' are
already at home, again, only we do not see it. This is the meaning of
the parable of the Prodigal Son. We are that Son, and the Father
welcomes us back, meeting us over half-way, ready to celebrate and
shower the gifts upon us which are, and have been, ours all along, though
we did not see this, imagining He would be furious at us for apparently
separating and leaving home. We really never Really left Home.
More
and more men and women are seeing this,
even while apparently in a body and walking the earth, as did
Yeshua. Where we are at any moment in our awakening, alive, here on the
earth
is the best place to see through the blocks developing the required
vision of forgiveness, finding atonement, forgiving ourselves, our
neighbors, and the
world we have made. The goal is not to change the world, but with this
change in mind and heart, the world inevitably also changes.
With
death of the body, we pass into other 'worlds' without the particular
opportunities this one does now offer. We may not on the apparent 'other side' there have the will or
power to find what we all truly are looking
for. Best to find what we can here while 'alive'. Once one is 'roused' up, awake
in this Living Spirit, even this world is changed until this too
disappears and we are taken by God Home, beyond all appearances and
impermanence, not a state to be described or imagined, the full
Sonship, beyond both time and space. The Way there however is through
forgiveness, here and now, and no steps can been missed or skipped.
Everything is always exactly what we need to see through it, not destroy, avoid or escape it.

Jeshau
did NOT teach that we are to bow down to him,
worship his form and appearance, and he admonished
his followers when they did this. He wanted only that they become like
him, actually become who he really is, and him, they, in the
Living one, drinking from the same bubbling Spring. (Gospel of Thomas)
He readily
accepts their
love and adoration in the same spirit that he gives it to them. He
said
call no man Master, Good, Rabbi (teacher) or Father,
including his own appearance as a person. "Why call you me good?", he
said. "Only the Father in heaven is 'good'."
Summary: Coming
to know who Jeshua really is, is coming to know who we really are, and vice versa. The Living One of the Father. Jesus message is not about
himself, but about becoming the same as he is, becoming him, and he us,
men no longer, One in
the Father, no longer an illusion. Jesus became what all of us must be,
God's one creation, forever like Himself, completely identified with
the Christ - the Perfect Son of God. We are innocent, seeing through our dreams
of sin and guilt, sharing the resurrection of God's Son. We too are
to bring along those with us that we meet, helping all to see we are
circled by false beliefs about our identity and the nature of the world we perceive.
I
want to write more later about how I have come to these conclusions through
my own experience.
Recently I have been introduced to "A Course In
Miracles" and have been surprised to find much in corroboration in what it has
to
say about Jeshua and the way things are. Here are the two passages in
the "Manual for Teachers" about Jeshua and the Holy Spirit.
JESUS - CHRIST
There is no need for help to enter Heaven for
you have never left. But there is need for help beyond yourself as you are
circumscribed by false beliefs of your Identity, which God alone established
in reality. Helpers are given you in many forms, although upon the altar they
are one. Beyond each one there is a Thought of God, and this will never
change. But they have names which differ for a time, for time needs symbols,
being itself unreal. Their names are legion, but we will not go beyond the
names the course itself employs. God does not help because He knows no need.
But He creates all Helpers of His Son while he believes his fantasies are
true. Thank God for them for they will lead you home.
The name of Jesus is the name of one
who was a man but saw the face of Christ in all his brothers and remembered
God. So he became identified with Christ, a man no longer, but at
one with God. The man was an illusion, for he seemed to be a separate being,
walking by himself, within a body that appeared to hold his self from Self,
as all illusions do. Yet who can save unless he sees illusions and then
identifies them as what they are? Jesus remains a Saviour because he saw the
false without accepting it as true. And Christ needed his form that He might
appear to men and save them from their own illusions.
In his complete identification with the
Christ, the perfect Son of God, His one creation and His
happiness, forever like Himself and one with Him Jesus became
what all of you must be. He led the way for you to follow him. He leads you
back to God because he saw the road before him, and he followed it. He made a
clear distinction, still obscure to you, between the false and true. He
offered you a final demonstration that it is impossible to kill God’s
Son; nor can his life in any way be changed by sin and evil, malice, fear or
death.
And therefore all your sins have been forgiven
because they carried no effects at all. And so they were but dreams. Arise
with him who showed you this because you owe him this who shared your dreams
that they might be dispelled. And shares them still, to be at one with
you.
Is he the Christ? O yes, along with you. His
little life on earth was not enough to teach the mighty lesson that he
learned for all of you. He will remain with you to lead you from the hell you
made to God. And when you join your will with his, your sight will be his
vision, for the eyes of Christ are shared. Walking with him is just as
natural as walking with a brother whom you knew since you were born, for such
indeed he is. Some bitter idols have been made of him who would be only
brother to the world. Forgive him your illusions, and behold how dear a
brother he would be to you. For he will set your mind at rest at last and
carry it with you unto your God.
Is he God’s only Helper? No, indeed. For
Christ takes many forms with different names until their oneness can be
recognized. But Jesus is for you the bearer of Christ’s single message
of the Love of God. You need no other. It is possible to read his words and
benefit from them without accepting him into your life. Yet he would help you
yet a little more if you will share your pains and joys with him, and leave
them both to find the peace of God. Yet still it is his lesson most of all
that he would have you learn, and it is this:
There is no death because the Son of God is like his
Father. Nothing you can do can change Eternal Love. Forget your dreams of sin
and guilt, and come with me instead to share the resurrection of God’s
Son.And bring with you all those whom He has sent to you to care for as I
care for you.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Jesus is the manifestation of the Holy
Spirit, Whom he called down upon the earth after he ascended into
Heaven, or became completely identified with the Christ, the Son of God as He
created him. The Holy Spirit, being a creation of the one Creator, creating
with Him and in His likeness or spirit, is eternal and has never changed. He
was “called down upon the earth” in the sense that it was now
possible to accept Him and to hear His Voice. His is the Voice for God, and
has therefore taken form. This form is not His reality, which God alone knows
along with Christ, His real Son, Who is part of Him.
The Holy Spirit is described throughout the
course as giving us the answer to the separation and bringing the plan of the
Atonement to us, establishing our particular part in it and showing us
exactly what it is. He has established Jesus as the leader in carrying out
His plan since he was the first to complete his own part perfectly. All power
in Heaven and earth is therefore given him and he will share it with you when
you have completed yours. The Atonement principle was given to the Holy
Spirit long before Jesus set it in motion.
The Holy Spirit is described as the remaining
Communication Link between God and His separated Sons. In order to fulfil
this special function the Holy Spirit has assumed a dual function. He knows
because He is part of God; He perceives because He was sent to save humanity.
He is the great correction principle; the bringer of true perception, the
inherent power of the vision of Christ. He is the light in which the forgiven
world is perceived; in which the face of Christ alone is seen. He never
forgets the Creator or His creation. He never forgets the Son of God. He
never forgets you. And He brings the Love of your Father to you in an eternal
shining that will never be obliterated because God has put it there.
The Holy Spirit abides in the part of your mind
that is part of the Christ Mind. He represents your Self and your Creator,
Who are one. He speaks for God and also for you, being joined with both. And
therefore it is He Who proves them one. He seems to be a Voice, for in that
form He speaks God’s Word to you. He seems to be a Guide through a far
country, for you need that form of help. He seems to be whatever meets the
needs you think you have. But He is not deceived when you perceive your self
entrapped in needs you do not have. It is from these He would deliver you. It
is from these that He would make you safe.
You are His manifestation in this world. Your
brother calls to you to be His Voice along with him. Alone he cannot be the
Helper of God’s Son for he alone is functionless. But joined with you
he is the shining Savior of the world, Whose part in its redemption you have
made complete. He offers thanks to you as well as him for you arose with him
when he began to save the world. And you will be with him when time is over
and no trace remains of dreams of spite in which you dance to death’s
thin melody. For in its place the hymn to God is heard a little while. And
then the Voice is gone, no longer to take form but to return to the eternal
